  • Differential methylation analysis

Our basic analysis includes data explorative analysis, such as dimensionality reduction to uncover patterns and cell type deconvolution to identify cell type ratios in your samples. At the core of this is differential expression analysis, which identifies differentially methylated CpG sites (DMCs) in your data. We follow this with pathway enrichment analysis that places these DMCs into a functional context, providing deeper insights into their biological significance.

  • Network-based functional analysis

We leverage a collection of module identification methods and known interaction networks to uncover complex molecular interactions underlying differences between sample groups. These networks, combined with pathway enrichment analysis, allow us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the functional relationships between DMC-associated genes.

  • AI analysis: Advanced predictive modeling

Our expanding set of explainable AI models captures complex functional effects based on systemic changes across the methylome. At the center is our Epigenetic Age estimation, which, unlike chronological age, reflects genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Additionally, we offer several predictive models related to general health and lifestyle, such as smoking status, inflammation and BMI.

For detailed insights tailored to your research, we offer custom prediction models, assuming that your data has sufficient sample sizes. As these models are created on a case-by-case basis an initial consultation is needed to explore how we can develop a predictor specific to your needs.
