Purchase Terms and Conditions

1. Parties and Definitions

These Terms govern the relationship between PredictMe (“Seller”, “we”, “us”) and you, the individual consumer (“Customer”, “you”), when you purchase any product or service through our Platform.

• You must be at least 18 years of age and acting as a Consumer (not in a commercial capacity).
• You must reside in a jurisdiction where epigenetic testing services are legally permitted.
• You may not order on behalf of another person without their explicit written consent.

3. Account Creation and Order Process

Accounts are created and authenticated exclusively via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0). By creating an account you authorise Google to share your verified email address and a unique user identifier with us solely for authentication. We do not receive your Google password, payment methods, contacts, or any other Google account data.

The ordering steps are:

1. Create or log in to your account via Google SSO.
2. Complete the HubSpot-hosted Registration Form (email, shipping address, kit preference).
3. Review the product, price, and these Terms.
4. Complete payment via Stripe.
5. Receive an Order confirmation email — this constitutes our acceptance and forms a binding contract.
6. Receive a secure Health Questionnaire Form link via HubSpot or Google SSO encrypted email (optional — see Section 8).

The contract is concluded in English. Pre-contractual information is provided in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 6.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in EUR (or SEK where indicated) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. The price at Order confirmation is binding.

All card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (PCI-DSS Level 1). We do not store, see, or process your raw card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Stripe tokenises your payment details; we receive only a payment confirmation token and transaction reference.

Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and additional methods as enabled via Stripe. A VAT invoice is generated automatically on Order confirmation. If payment fails, your Order will not be processed.

5. Right of Withdrawal

As an EU Consumer you have the right to withdraw from this contract without reason within 14 calendar days of Order confirmation, pursuant to EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 9.

To withdraw before Kit activation, contact info@predictme.se with subject “WITHDRAWAL — [Order number]”. We will confirm receipt and process a full refund within 14 days via Stripe.

6. Delivery, Kit and Sample

• We aim to dispatch your Kit within 3–7 business days of Order confirmation. Estimated EU delivery: 5–10 business days.
• Your name and shipping address are used solely for kit dispatch and are never linked to your clinical data. The laboratory receives only your pseudonymous Analysis ID.
• You must follow the sample collection instructions precisely. Failure to do so may result in an invalid sample.
• Return your sample using the pre-paid envelope provided. Risk of loss during return transit remains with you until laboratory receipt.
• Laboratory analysis may be performed by PredictMe or approved laboratory partners located within the European Economic Area (EEA). PredictMe remains responsible for ensuring that all processing complies with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
• Upon receipt by the laboratory, the sample is processed solely for the purposes described in these Terms. Residual biological material is securely destroyed 10 days after analysis.

7. Service Delivery and Results

Results are typically available within 6–8 weeks of laboratory receipt of a valid sample. Turnaround times are estimates and may be extended by quality control or force majeure. You will be notified of significant delays.

Your Results Report is delivered via the secure Platform (including via a booked meeting with our clinical team). An email notification is sent to your Google SSO address when results are ready.

Epigenetic outputs (e.g. PredictMe BioAge, PredictMe Delta) are probabilistic estimates based on scientifically developed models based on published research and internal validation procedures. They are not diagnostic. Results reflect your epigenetic state at the time of sample collection.

Results are intended solely for personal wellness and informational purposes and should not be used in connection with insurance underwriting, employment decisions, credit assessments, or eligibility determinations.

8. Health Data and Your Consent

To provide the service we collect personal data across two separately consented channels:

Some information we collect — including epigenetic data, and health data — is Special Category Data under GDPR Article 9. We only process it where you have given explicit, informed consent.

Our commitments: We will never sell your health or epigenetic data to third parties, nor share it with insurers, employers, or government bodies without your explicit separate consent or a legal obligation. You can withdraw optional consent at any time by contacting info@predictme.se without affecting prior processing or access to already-delivered results.

9. Secure Analysis Environment

DNA methylation analysis is performed in a dedicated, privately controlled Secure Analysis Environment implementing the following controls:

10. Intellectual Property, Liability and Disputes

10.1 Intellectual Property

All algorithms, software, platform design, scoring models, and brand materials belong to PredictMe. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to access your account and view your Results Report for non-commercial use only. You retain ownership of your personal data; by using the service you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purposes set out in these Terms.

10.2 Liability

Our total liability for any claim under this Agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or any loss arising from reliance on results for medical, insurance, or employment decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

10.3 Complaints and Disputes

Contact us first at info@predictme.se. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve them within 30 days. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes may be referred to the Swedish courts or, if you prefer, the courts of your country of habitual residence within the EU. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence always apply.

11. General Provisions

• Changes: We may update these Terms with at least 30 days' notice for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
• Closing your account: Contact info@predictme.se or use account settings. A separate deletion request is required to remove personal data.
• Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the full agreement for the service.
• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to: postal delays; customs delays; laboratory shutdowns; supplier interruptions; cyber incidents.
